Memorial Day Parade and Celebration

Chelsea's annual Memorial Day parade will be held on Monday, May 26, 2008 beginning at 10 a.m. Afterwards, from 1 til 5 p.m. there will be a celebration at the American Legion Post #31 with food and refreshments. If you have any old flags to retire, bring them along. The American Legion is planing a ceremony to dispose of them with honor.

Memorial Day holds a special place in my heart because many of my loved ones have served in the military, during wars, conflicts, and also quieter times. My most heartfelt thanks to all of you and your own loved ones who have served to protect our country.
