Chelsea restaurant reviews - old and new favorites

The Ann Arbor News has featured two Chelsea restaurants in the past week. Our old favorite, Cleary's Pub, and our newest restaurant, Las Fuentes.
  • Las Fuentes, our new Mexican restaurant located in the Clocktower Complex, is family-friendly and will soon be another option in town for drinks with friends: Las Fuentes opens in Chelsea (Ann Arbor News on MLive, 7/3/08)

I'm astonished that A2 would turn the focus from itself to spotlight a couple small town eateries.

LOL. Well if they keep the spotlight *off* of us then we can keep all the good stuff to ourselves! Just kidding. :) Actually, the Ann Arbor area does look to Chelsea to see what's happening. There are a lot of good reasons to visit here, from the Common Grill, Purple Rose Theatre, the "quaint" downtown area, fun events, and places like Cleary's and Las Fuentes. I think it's great!

Do they still allow smoking in Cleary's? That's what drove me away. The Common Grill gets my vote as Best Restaurant ANYWHERE.
